A handful of local artists will be featured in an exhibit honoring “Oregon Art Beat’s” 15th season on OPB.
Andy Nichols, Cameron Kaseberg, John Maher, Peny Wallace and Victor Johnson will be among the hundreds of “Art Beat” alumni featured in the exhibition subtitled” Celebrating 15 Years of Creativity.”
Opening April 19 to the public, the event brings together paintings, metal work, sculpture, calligraphy, pottery, music and more from across the region. #Singer-songwriter Johnson, who has built a worldwide reputation for family-friendly roots rock, will perform May 14.
The exhibition will take place on the top floor of Pioneer Place Mall, 700 SW Fifth Ave., Portland, at the Peoples Art of Portland Gallery, the Mark Wooley Gallery and the Art Beat Main Stage Gallery. The exhibition is free of charge and will run Saturday, April 19, through Sunday, June 15. Hours are noon to 6 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.
